Fall is almost here and if you are anything like me, we love cozy sweaters, blankets, slow mornings, crunchy leaves, and pumpkin.
That being said, I thought to share my fall morning routine with you all.
If you don?t have enough time during weekdays, maybe you could try this routine on the weekends when you have a little more time.
PS– If you need a morning makeover, here are 7 things I do before 8 am to become more productive and energetic throughout the day.

Cozy Fall Morning Routine
1) Start Slow
Imagine waking up under your cozy blanket, and not feeling the urge to jump out of bed immediately.
Isn’t it a great feeling?
As most of us wake up a little earlier in the summer season to spend time outdoors, I personally wait for this cozy fall season to arrive so I can feel not only cozy in the morning but also have a little more time with myself before I get up.
The purpose of a slow morning is to not rush with yourself and allow yourself to have a peaceful morning.
Meaning not rushing to check emails, notifications, and texts.
I know most of us are used to this habit so it could take a little patience to get used to it.
2) Listen To Fall Inspired Music
Next, I listen to fall-inspired music but it depends on my mood while I am still in bed.
It helps me set my mood and I feel more inspired to do other tasks.
3) Enjoy Your Drink
Many people like to drink coffee/tea first thing in the morning and you can enjoy your drink while enjoying your ME time.
I drink decoction water first thing in the morning and I also like to write in my journal.
It helps me get ready for the day ahead and if there is a thought that keeps floating around in my head, it clears that as well.
It is an activity that helps me feel more positive instantly and like something heavy has lifted off from my head.
You can write anything from affirmations, and gratitude lists, to random thoughts and feelings.
If you want to start a journal, check out the step-by-step guide to start a journal.

Here is my pick.
4) Clean Your Space
Making my bed, and putting things in their place is what I do to feel more organized in the morning.
5) Morning Walk
Going out for a morning walk has many benefits other than just getting fit; you get fresh air and a quiet environment.
If you have got a pet, you can absolutely enjoy your walk with your pet.
Listening to music or podcasts is also a good idea if that is what you want to do.

6) Workout
Once I am done with my morning walk, I do some home workouts.
It not only keeps me fit and active but this habit of working out really really helps me boost my mood.
If you struggle with sticking to your workout schedule, check in with yourself why you are unable to do so.
The most common concern could be that you are expecting yourself to exercise for a certain amount of time ?I will exercise for 30 mins? and if you don?t have 30 minutes, you?re skipping it altogether.
Please don?t do that and just make yourself do it even for 10 minutes as you move forward, the time limit will increase as well.
7) Skin Care + Shower
A hot and slow shower with my favorite skincare products makes it even better after knowing my morning routine has been great and trust me if you have a great start to the day, you?ll have a great day as well.
PS- If you?re following your fall morning routine, you can do all those extra skincare steps that we don?t usually do on the weekdays. Ex, putting on a face mask or face pack, having your manicure/pedicure done, etc.
PS- Even if you?re at home, get ready to feel the vibes.
8) Breakfast and Watch Something Funny
Having a cozy breakfast is also a part of my fall morning routine.
I make sure that my breakfast is heavy and also something that doesn?t take so long to cook (I don?t like spending an hour in the morning cooking).
But it?s different on the weekends as I have a little more time so I can spend that time making something special.
At the same time, I like to do something to feel fresh.
9) Get Ready To Start The Day
After 8 steps of the fall morning routine, I am ready and productive to start the day.
I would also like to mention that feeling cozy doesn?t have to be limited to mornings. You can make your day cozier and enjoy the special fall season.
