How To Grow Your Confidence This Summer (4 Ways)
How To Grow Your Confidence This Summer and enjoy your time.
Many people wait for summer to arrive. While this season can be pretty exciting for some people, it also has its own challenges.
Summer comes with insecurity and challenges- to look your best, to “make the most” out of season, traveling (because IG is flooded with travel reels, being productive and what not.
These activities are great for some people but feeling “left out” is real. It can make you feel that you are not making progress even when you are working hard for it every single day.
So how do we stay confident in our own plan (or even if you have none) and still enjoy ourselves?
You know, growing up I would always compare my summer vacation to other friends who would go out, travel to different cities and even countries and I would always wonder why this can’t be us.
These kinds of thoughts are very real. They are powerful enough. Once they creep into your mind, they can make things just not-so-better.
They come with comparison, feeling self pity, and feeling low self worth. If you were in the same boat as me, I hear you.
But we just can’t let those years stop us from building a beautiful life for us.
I can tell you one thing before we move ahead is that you are more than any vacation. While vacations in popular destinations are awesome, you can have a great time without them too (until you get there).
Grow Your Confidence This Summer- It’s okay to start with basics
In the last few years, one of the most important lessons I learned is that if things start to become too chaotic in mind, get back to basics.
So what does it really mean? For me, it’s about coming back to myself—checking in with what’s on my mind, how my body feels, the kind of content I’m consuming, and the food I’m nourishing myself with.
It’s in these small check-ins that I start to see how deeply my mood is affected by all of it.
Most people have some time before going to bed so I have this night journaling prompts and affirmations to help you out. You may also like a journal that can help you with that.
PS- Most of us often cling to outside opinion and validation when we feel low but it’s NOT something we can control. We can control how we see ourselves.
Have a wardrobe that uplift you
Not sure if it’s just me or sometimes we just sabotage ourselves unintentionally. For the longest time, I had a wardrobe that was not working for me, the patterns were off, I had no idea what colors I should wear and not wear.
And when I look back it feels somewhat embarrassing. But I am happy that I took some time to finally learn what pieces would instantly uplift me and what will just won’t work for me and it’s okay to leave them behind.
I really believe there are some great youtube channels to learn that. Justine leconte is one of my favourites.
P.S. What we wear plays a powerful role in how we feel. They help us feel confident and at ease in our own skin.
Write what hurts—then what you know
If you are not feeling confident, chances are there is something about you that you would like to change.
It could be due to outer or inner influence or both. And when we are not how we want to be, it somehow shakes our confidence.
One example that I believe most of us could relate to is how we look- our skin, our weight, it could be anything else for you.
Growing up, I have always been a skinny girl who struggled with gaining weight. I would be lying if I say the outside opinion did not make me a less confident person.
Yes it did hurt. A lot. Because those comments were from people I trusted and valued the most.
But at the end of the day I know I am working on myself, I know I am kind to my body while working on myself to look my best, I know I am healthy and my body is helping me experience all of that this world has to offer and ultimately I am healthy because I have my tests reports.
Now, I am working out not for the sake of it but with a purpose- to live a better lifestyle, to feel my best, to look my best (and I will not shy away to admit it), and to maximize my energy levels.

Protect Your Space
Our space matters a lot. No matter how much we try to reframe our mind, it’s equally crucial to work on our outer world.
It matters who we are spending time with, it matters if we are living in a cluttered space and it matters if you are choosing to let people enter in your space.
At the end of the day, this isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence. It’s about turning your room, your desk, your bed, into a space where your confident self would want to live in.
P.S. I believe that when it comes to building unshakable confidence, showing up for yourself consistantly and taking actions beats everything.
If you are ready to take action and feel your best this summer, please let me what what you resonate with the most and if you have anything else in mind, I would love to hear that as well.
Pin for later and help other people find this, too!
