Do you want to know how to romanticize your life and make your day-to-day life more special and fulfilling?
I hate to admit but in reality, life doesn’t always treat us with flowers and rainbows. With constant comparison to pressure to perform your best in a professional and personal life, we get so busy and don’t realize how your day flew by and at the end of the day you feel stressed and burned out.
Then again it’s the same pattern and nothing new is happening in your daily life. We want something new in our routine for new experiences and joy. Need a real life example? Here we go.
Have you ever noticed that when you go on a vacation you tend to challenge yourself to develop new habits- for eg. if you have never been a morning person, still you try your best to get up early so you can go sightseeing and take pretty pictures?
There are so many activities we do that we wouldn’t think of doing otherwise. Isn’t it the reason people love vacation so much?
And you don’t need to get motivated to do all that, you don’t watch all those motivational videos on YouTube as you know you’ll love the experience (as you know it will be something exciting and new).
We want something new to grow ourselves and keep ourselves productive. We were never meant to be following the same routine every single day and expect to be content in our lives.
So, is there any way to romanticize your daily life you may ask? And I would say there sure is.
Since I know most of us can’t go on a vacation every time we need a break from our lives, I really wish we could but it is what it is lol. In this post, I will be sharing my 20 favorite, easy-yet-effective ways that will help you romanticize your everyday life.

What Does It Mean To Romanticize Your Life?
The truth is life throws many challenges at us every single day.
But there are things happening around us that are positive but often overlooked and when we are talking about romanticizing your life, it simply means enjoying and appreciating those simple moments and making life even exciting and new every single day.
How To Romanticize Your Life
1) Start Auditing Your Daily Routine
It all starts with a routine. This step is for you to see how you can have some time for yourself.
There could be 2 ways. Either you have a properly planned out routine or you allow yourself to go with the flow, if you often feel something is just not right (you think time flies and you aren’t being productive or you are forced to make a lot of sacrifices and don’t have enough time to eat or exercise).
It is the time to start where your time is actually going. You can do so by auditing your daily routine, it might sound so simple but a lot of people get stuck at this and even though they think they have a great routine, in reality they are not making the most out of their time.
✅If you are serious, I recommend auditing your day using a pen and notebook. Then you are ready to move to the next point. (I only recommend items I used and loved).
2) Make your morning special
By saying special, I don’t mean you wake up in a luxury mansion.
A special morning could be a slow and mindful morning. Where you are giving yourself an ample amount of time, spending 10 minutes in journaling, repeating affirmations, getting some fresh air to lift up your mood and simply not rushing.

3) Make your workout interesting
When it comes to workout, you want to stay consistent to get results and it is quite challenging. Make your workout interesting by investing in quality activewear and engaging with others (there are many fb groups for that) to get motivated, share results and boost confidence.
4) Talk to yourself
We talk to ourselves constantly in our head but most of the time thoughts are unintentional, talk to yourself and start making that talk intentional.
5) Romanticize your time with nature
Technology is great and very helpful. But have you ever noticed how relaxed and peaceful it feels when you’re spending your time in the park around greenery or watching pretty sunrise and sunsets?
6) Dance like no one’s watching
Express yourself without worrying about what others think. It’s about being yourself and enjoying the moment without feeling self-conscious.
7) Want to feel like a new person?
Change is often uncomfortable in life but sometimes it can feel great. Especially when I get a new haircut. I feel like a complete new person and I love it.
8) Start wearing that dress you always wanted to wear
This summer season stop waiting to be in your dream body to start wearing that dress you already wanted to wear.
9) Make more sticky notes
Write down goals, motivational quotes that make you feel inspired or anything you want to be in front of you.
10) Get some fresh flower to lift your mood
Flowers are romantic. Why? because they have a special way of expressing feelings. Gifting flowers to yourself is like giving yourself a big hug or a pat on the back. So stop finding reasons and get some fresh flowers for yourself.
11) Your mindset plays a huge role
This is not exactly a way to romanticize your life but it is a very important step to mention. While you are halfway through the post, I want you to know that you are worthy of doing it so please don’t ever feel that it is not for you because of some reasons you might have in mind. Life is beautiful, live it.
12) Sleeping affects your mood, and day
Small tweaking can help you feel much better. Most of us spend 7-8 hours on our bed. If you won’t have a good night’s sleep, chances are your next day will get affected as well. That’s why I would recommend Investing in good quality mattresses, pillows and bed sheets. One of the best ways to romanticize your everyday life. You will love it.
13) Attend that concert
If you have been holding off for a while now because you are looking for someone to go with you, it’s your time to attend that concert and enjoy your time. You won’t regret it.
14) Try eating out by yourself
If you’ve never done this, it could be uncomfortable and it is normal to feel that way but this is something that you could consider doing at least one time to see how it goes. I had done this a lot during my college days. It felt uncomfortable in the beginning but slowly you get used to it.
15) Use your expensive things on yourself
While you want to keep some expensive stuff exclusive for guests and special occasions, you need to stop hiding things and start using them more. One thing I learned in the past few years is that everyday is a special occasion if you’re waking up healthy.
