Are you ready for feel-good spring self-care ideas?
Just like you need good food to stay healthy, self-care is like good vibes for your mind and body.
As you may already know spring is all about new beginnings, and you’re part of that, too!
That is why in this post, I will be sharing 17 spring self-care ideas so you can enjoy your season.
Before we jump in, I want to say that there is tons of confusion about self-care floating around on the internet and social media.
All I want to say about that is Self-care is all about making the right choice for you and doing the right things at this moment.
Self-care can be as simple as sitting with yourself for 10 minutes in a quiet environment when you’re feeling exhausted.
If you are feeling overwhelmed for some time now, instead of running away from the problem and finding temporary ways to feel good, grab your journal and do a brain dump so you can understand how to solve the issue.
Also, now you know how to have a problem-solving approach rather than running away from them, isn’t that great?
Self-care is about doing what IS right for you, even if it’s taking a walk, reading a book, or just chilling with a cup of tea.
Ultimately, it’s your time to recharge, not stress about doing something extravagant. Simple things that are often overlooked can have a huge impact on our lives.
30 Amazing Spring Bucket List Ideas To Add in Your List.
Okay so let’s begin with ideas that you can perform this Spring season.
17 Spring Self-Care Ideas To Feel Fresh Again
1) Reflect on your daily routine
During this time of the year, the weather starts getting warmer and we get longer days. So it’s a great time to see if the routine you’re following still works for you.
Especially, if you want to spend more time outside enjoy the sunshine, or have new activities you want to do. (Which I am sure you’re looking forward to).

So, have a look back at your routine and see if it needs any change.
2) Spend some time outdoors
Honestly, this is what I am looking forward to doing this year, as someone who works from home full time, it’s pretty hard to manage your time.
You want to get done many things, you are accountable for yourself. While it has its advantages, sometimes the line between personal and professional life gets blurry.
But this year I will make sure to set boundaries and spend more time outdoors.
I have been guilty of not going to new places for the longest time and just sitting in my office more than I need to.
If you are looking for some outdoor activity ideas, I have mentioned some in this post as well.
3) Barefoot walk
Our feet have lots of nerve endings, and when we walk barefoot, we get to experience all kinds of different sensations.
It can also help you feel calmer and less stressed because now you’re more focused on the present moment.
4) Have a digital detox day
Spending too much time everyday on your mobile and laptop can have a negative effect on your body and mind and as simple and easy as it may sound, more often than not we forget to take a break from our gadgets.
It’s crucial to have a digital detox day.
If I talk about myself, it’s Sunday for me. I try not to spend more than an hour on my electronics on Sunday so I can have a reset day and reflect on both past and upcoming weeks.
Oh and when you’re not spending time on your phone, you can do any of these self care activities I have mentioned here.
5) Tea/coffee time outdoors
Tea time outside isn’t just about the drink; it’s also about the whole experience.
I suppose morning could be a good time to slow down, and enjoy the moment either with a family member/partner or even with yourself.
It’s a lovely way to connect with nature and yourself.
6) Get a spring-themed journal
If you are anything like me, we love buying new stationary stuff.
Getting a new spring-themed journal will motivate you to start journaling again.
Spring is all about change and growth. Using a spring-themed journal can remind you that you’re growing and changing too.
7) Practice phone-free bedtime
It’s quite understandable that after a long day, you might want to watch something entertaining on your phone but it can disrupt your sleeping routine (unless you follow a strict routine and don’t already use a phone after a certain time).
It’s usually advisable to keep aside your phone one hour before going to bed so, if you sleep at 11pm, consider not using your phone after 10pm unless it’s urgent.
Instead, you can create some bedtime routine for a good night sleep and take some inspiration here.
8) Take a swimming class
As spring starts, the weather starts to get warmer. This makes it more comfortable to be in the water and enjoy swimming. It’s not too cold like in the winter, and the pools are usually open and ready for swimmers.
Spring can be a good time if you are looking forward to learning/improving your swimming skills before summer.
By taking a swimming class early in the season, you’ll have enough time to practice and become more confident in the water.
9) Try mindful photography practice
Mindful photography is when you take pictures while paying close attention to what’s around you.
In spring, there’s a lot going on in nature – flowers blooming, birds singing, and everything getting colorful again. When you take pictures during spring, you can focus on all these cool things.
10) Try coloring books for adults
If you are not into artistic hobbies (like painting, drawing, dancing, etc.) then this might be something for you.
Coloring books can be relaxing. You can choose colors as you want without worrying about being “perfect”. There’s no pressure, just have fun with it.
11) Give yourself a moisturizing facial
During winter, the cold air and indoor heating can make your skin feel dry and tight. But when spring comes, it’s a good time to moisturize your face for a soft and healthy skin.
Facials can help soothe any irritation or redness caused by winter weather.
By using moisturizing masks or creams, you’re giving your skin the extra hydration it needs to look and feel its best as the weather warms up. You can either DIY or have it done professionally.
12) Don’t forget your nails
Just like your skin, your nails need moisture too. Using a moisturizing nail cream or oil can help keep your nails and cuticles hydrated, preventing them from becoming dry and prone to splitting.
13) Do a deep cleaning
A clean home just feels good. It’s a chance to prepare for fun activities. When your home is clean and organized, it feels more inviting for gatherings with friends and family, barbecues in the backyard, or just relaxing indoors.
14) Create sticky notes
I love sticky notes and I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t. 😉
If you aren’t sure what they are, Sticky notes are like little reminders that help you stay motivated, remember important tasks, appointments, or ideas.
You can stick them on your desk, computer, or fridge where you’ll see them easily and more often.
15) Window gardening
If you don’t have a yard or outdoor space for gardening, why not grow plants indoors using your windows. This way you will be making the most of your limited space plus they look pretty as well.
There are many indoor plants that are easy to care for and require minimal maintenance. If you want to learn more about window gardening, I have got you a helpful post here.
16) Do a DIY energy cleanse
Just like you clean your home on a regular basis to get rid of dust and clutter, an energy cleanse helps clear out negative energy that might be holding you back from taking actions.
Afterall, it is all about finding a balance but sometimes life can be hectic, and our energy gets out of whack.
An energy cleanse helps you to let go of things that are no longer working for you – it can be old habits, negative thoughts, or emotional overwhelm.
It’s just like decluttering your mind and making space for growth and new opportunities.
17) Movie night in
As we just talked about finding balance in life, I believe that having a movie night can be as helpful as any other on the list.
