1) Our Peace
This is most probably the number one thing we take for granted. We dont think about our peace of mind until its gone.
I read a book and one quote from the book that I still remember.
The quote goes like this-
Our mind is like a garden, that can be cultivated or neglected to run wild, whether cultivated or neglected to run wild, it will continue to produce its kind.

And I couldnt agree more with the quote.
When we Take our peace for granted, we unintentionally allow negative thoughts and worries to take over and build over time.
Working on your peace means working on your mind and regularly checking in.
2) Always Access To Clean Water
Clean water is something that is the most essential thing in our life. But just because we have easy access to it, we dont think about it much.
There are still around 2 billion people around the world (source) that dont have access to drinkable water.
They might have to walk long distances to bring drinking water. So, when we talk about not taking clean water for granted, it means appreciating how lucky we are to have safe and clean water whenever we need it.
And also being aware of the efforts needed to make sure everyone can have access to it.
3) Having a Safe Environment
This one is quite close to my heart as I live in a country where I can say we still have a long way to go.
When we talk about safe environment, it means a place where everyone, especially women, can live, work, and go about their daily lives without feeling threatened or in danger.
This includes safety from physical harm, harassment, and other forms of violence that we get to hear in our everyday lives.
Unfortunately, there are so many women around the world face situations where they don’t feel safe, whether it’s at home, work, or in public places.
A safe environment is crucial because it allows us to live freely, speak freely, go after their goals, and contribute to society without fear.
If you are living in a part of the world where you have this freedom, do not take this for granted and please make sure you create and support efforts to maintain environments where everyone can feel secure and protected.
4) Love of Your Pets
This is one of the things we take for granted without even realizing it.
If theres anyone you can count on for unconditional love, it has to be your pets.
Whether you have a dog, cat or any other pets you have, they are usually the first to sense and feel when something is wrong, they provide you with comfort when you feel low without asking for much in return.
And most importantly, without any judgements.
They are always there for you as you are their whole life.
Appreciate them and spend time with them while they are still with you.
5) Your Healthy Body And Functional Mind
In todays time, a disease free body and a functional mind is the wealthiest thing you can ask for.
Even when we get sick lightly that is not that serious and usually gets well in a few days, we understand the meaning of health.
But when things are working well, we dont really think about it.
Its important that we dont take it for granted, and work on ourselves every single day.

6) Your Time
What If I say some of your problems can be solved if you can be a little picky about your time?
Where you are spending it, with whom you are spending it and not taking it for granted.
7) Clean Clothes
Even when we hate to do the laundry, it is something that is our everyday need.
Wearing clean clothes helps us feel fresh and confident.
If you often overlook this step, try changing this like if you work from home and not get ready to work, you might feel a boost in confidence when you do so.
These are small everyday habits that we shouldnt forget about.
8) People Who Support You In Hard Times
People who support you in hard times are no less than angels.
They stand by you when life gets tough, offering a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, or practical help.
Their support can come in many formswhether it’s through comforting words, sharing their own experiences, or simply being there without judgment.
Such people remind us that we’re not alone, even when challenges feel overwhelming.
They offer support and strength when we might not have the energy to find it ourselves.
Never take them for granted and check on them wherever you can.
9) Fresh Air
Fresh air plays a huge role in our comfort and health.
Imagine living in a space that is stuffy, stagnant, or polluted, these are enough to make anyone sick if you stay in such a place for a longer time.
It is also a reminder for you to open your curtains and step out to get some fresh air.
10) Your Sleep
I think sleep is something we dont think about until we cant sleep for some reason.
For someone who is burdened with problems, sleep can feel elusive.
Their mind races and their mind refuses to shut down even when they are tired.
We all have been there at some point.
The ability to sleep peacefully at night is not just a necessity but also an inner harmony that shouldnt be taken for granted.
11) Present Moment
Most of us are either living in our mistakes of the past or worries of the future.
And either way, we have no control over these. Present is the only time that we can control and live in.
The present moment is where life actually happensit’s where we experience joy, connect with others, and make decisions that decide our future.
