52 Hobbies For Women In Their 20s
I have divided 52 hobbies into 3 categories- mental, physical, and creative- so it will be easier for you to choose.
1. Learn Origami – If you are looking for a hobby that can be practiced from the comfort of your home and for free, learn origami. Origami is basically a Japanese art where you make different shapes using papers. To learn this art, all you need is a paper and this step-by-step guide. It’s creative, easy, and so much fun.
2. Scrapbooking – When I was a kid, it used to be my favorite creative hobby, but for some reason, I had to stop it. I am thinking of starting it again. The whole point of scrapping is that you can make a collection of your precious memories that you want to remember forever, and this is also a great way to get your creativity out. You can decorate it in your own way by using cute stickers and pictures.
3. Calligraphy – Whenever I hear the word calligraphy, I get reminded of Steve Jobs.
When Steve Jobs dropped out of college just after 6 months, he decided to take calligraphy classes because that’s what he found interesting. At that time, he had no idea how these classes would help him, but he chose to attend classes because he loved it.
10 years later, when he was working on Mac, calligraphy helped him connect the dots.
You never know which hobby or skill of yours can help you in the future, and this is also a major reason to always try new things even if you don’t know how they are going to help you in the present time.
My favorite quote from the speech is – ” You can not connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.”
